The Silver Falcons had a new display routine & put on stunning flying displays ... despite the 20+ knot wind on Friday & Saturday.

Parked on the far side of the apron, 35 squadron C-47TP's #6875 which was used for VIP transport & #6845 behind, both apparently to be sold ?

I thought the Bk-117s had all been phased out in favour for the A109,which squadron are these from?

And I only have pics of the Bk from 2 years ago, taking pics into the sun is nigh impossible, would love to learn how to do it properly like some of the photo gurus here.

The phasing out of the Bk has been delayed. See http://www.saairforce.co.za/news-and-ev ... er-delayed

Awesome pics Brent! I manages to spend a whole 15 minutes in the media pit on Saturday. Was so busy running around for the museum. But managed to get some nice pics from where our aircraft were all parked. I must still sort and edit, then I'll post a few.

Great Pix Foxtrot ... thanks :smt023 You must post more :D :D

You should however, try resizing them to a smaller size first, which will also bring down the actual file size. At 1600x1200 pixels they chew up monitor space & are not viewable unless one scrolls around. They are then all over 1mb which also takes an age to load all the images.

A free & good program to use is Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/ to resize the image to around 800x600 & then optimize the filesize for web display.

Cheers
