The Western Cape schools are closing on Friday. It could be one of the reasons why the show is on a Friday and Saturday?

I am still camped outside the base .. the L39's are still in Porsche colours, but they now have their registrations visible.

*sigh* Great pics Brent. I really need to schedule my trips home better in future! I did manage to see a Hawk Mk 120 in the skies over JHB when I was there, that's about it.

Yellow Hawker Hunter? The ex Thunder City one Zu-AUJ most likely. Pilot either Ian Pringle or Ron Wheeldon.

Might this do a fly-past at least over Ysterplaat? We can only hope.

ZU-TEE is looking good! Pilot Pierre Gouws as usual?

Same here, no good this sitting continents away from a nice show at Ysterplaat :( . We could have arranged a nice marqee tent (via the good offices of Dean & Brent  ) near the fence, all clubbing in to cover expenses, and had a grand day.

There's always a next time. :)
